Smithy. Late C18-early C19. Coursed squared and dressed limestone
with ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan with gable end to road.
Single-bay extension to gable end away from the road. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof with ashlar
stacks. Large fixed 4-light casement with horizontal glazing bars
to the main body. Double plank garage doors to single-bay
extension to the right. Stacks at the gable ends of the main body
with moulded cappings and skirtings. Still functioning as a smithy
at the time of resurvey (June 1986). (Barrington Park Estate).
