End cottage in row, originally 2 cottages. Late C16 or early C17.
Rubble stone, stone slate roof, artificial stone slates to rear,
large stone ridge stack to left shared with No 4 (q.v.). Single
range with small C20 rear extension, single storey and attic. Two
gables to front, each with 2-light stone mullion and dripmould.
Ground floor 3-light similar to left, with square hoodmould and
plank door between gables with raking stone hood on brackets.
Doorway to right blocked and replaced 2-light leaded casement to
far right. Small newel light to far left denotes former stone
newel stair, now removed. Chamfered main beams to ground floor
rooms.
