Farmhouse. C17 in two stages (right-hand bay probably representing
the first phase) and C19. Coursed squared and dressed limestone,
limestone rubble, stone slate roof, ashlar and brick stacks.
Rectangular main body with C19 extension (former bakery), at right-
angles at left gable end. Main body; 16 storeys. Two-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with hood with gable over
upper right. C20 three-light half dormer left. Two 3-light stone-
mullioned casements with stopped hoods to ground floor. C19-C20
plank door left within flat-chamfered 'Tudor'-arched surround with
moulded imposts. Two small crosses on dressed stones below
imposts. Small double-chamfered single light above door. Gable
end of 2-storey former bakery projects forwards left. Flat coping
at left gable end of main body. Axial and gable end stacks.
