Barn, store and former granary, the latter now converted to house.
Barn C18. The Old Granary and store mid C19. Barn; rectangular
with projecting porch. The Old Granary (right) extended back at
rear right. Store attached to left end of barn. Coursed squared
and dressed limestone, large concrete tiles on barn, slate roofing
to The Old Granary and store either side. Barn; double plank doors
to central projecting porch with concrete lintel, two carved
medieval stone heads (one male one female) reused in gable.
Blocked doorway with segmental head in right-hand wall of
projecting porch. Part-glazed plank door with concrete lintel left
of porch. Plank door with cambered head to store left of barn. 4
open bays divided by timber uprights at rear, hayloft over. The
Old Granary; 2 storeys, 2-light C20 metal casements with horizontal
glazing bars to first floor. Projecting square datestone with
raised circle at centre (without date) between upper floor windows.
C20 garage door lower left. Three C20 metal casements with
horizontal glazing bars to ground floor. 2 part-glazed C20 doors.
Concrete lintel over garage door continued right. Flat gable-end
coping and roll-cross saddles to barn with pointed trefoil
decoration in sides. Leaning fleur-de-lys finials on gable ends
and on porch gable. Flat gable-end coping to store and The Old
Granary. Barn interior, 5 bays with some original collar and tie
trusses. Store left with C19 king-post trusses.
