15/69 Gazebo at Kingsmead House
GV II

Gazebo. Mid/late C18. Roughcast on chamfered stone plinth,
swept stone slate roof over built out eaves with ball finial, small
brick stack to west. Small hexagon of single storey, set on edge
of garden against pavement. Door of 4 fielded panels on north
east side towards Kingsmead House (q.v.) in plain cemented and wood
surround, up 2 large semi-circular moulded stone steps. Four 12-
pane sashes, each with window seat on inside formed within
contemporary dado panelling. Plain stone fireplace to remaining
wall with possibly later inset grate.
