east of south transept in churchyard
of Church of St. Kenelm

Chest tomb, William Baldwin, died 1677. Limestone. Flat top,
chamfered plinth and moulded capping, heavy lyre ends with
elaborate carving: cartouche to east, flowers flanking a cherub
holding a book to west. Long sides have plain inscription panel
to south and oblong panel to north with festoon and 3 cherub heads
above, flanking spiral foliage designs with entwined hour glass
motif on right. High quality carving. Sinking to the south at
the time of survey (September 1984).
