attached cart shed at Coxe's Farm

Former stable and store with granary over, and cart shed attached
to rear. Early C19 (dated WG 1817 over side door). Stable/store
of coursed rubble stone with quoins, Cotswold stone-slate roof with
off centre ridge forming catslide roof at the front. Door and
square window to front. At side, 16 stone steps up to granary of
4 uneven-sized bays, with flat stone door hood. Door on right at
foot of steps also has large flat stone hood and large lintel with
centre keystone containing inscription. 3 slit vents in gable
above. To rear, cart shed in rubble stone with double Roman tile
roof. 2 bays of unequal size with open fronts spanned by timber
lintel. Centre dividing wall has attached round column.
