Estate cottage. Late C19. By Sir Ernest George and Peto for
Lord Redesdale. Ashlar with concrete tile roof and limestone
gable coping. Artificial stone stacks. Rectangular main body
extended forward on right with porch set diagonally in angle. 2
storeys. Irregular fenestration. 4-light stone-mullioned oriel
window from first floor of gable front, 4-light stone-mullioned
casement with stopped hood below. Gabled porch with flat
chamfered 4-centred arched entrance, plank door within. Roof:
saddleback gable coping on roof, roll moulded coping on porch.
Moulded kneelers. 4 flue chimney in form of 'X' far right.
