Barn. Possibly early C18. Random coursed rubble stone with
quoins, stone slate roof. Five-bay barn with gabled projecting
cart entry to south east and opposed flush entry on north west
side, both with stepped buttresses. Former lean-to to north of
projecting entry has been demolished. Projecting entry has tile
hung gable and doors to south and in south side of projecting wall,
under timber lintels. Pitch hole on north gable, scattered square
vent holes. Interior has been repaired many times but retains one
raised cruck to south of central threshing floor. Main roof line
behind projecting entry has arched wind bracing. Rest of structure
only partially visible, apparently mainly 2 trenched purlins with
low collar beams.
