2/81 Sunny View and Quarr Cottage

Former terrace of three cottages, built in two phases, now 2
cottages. C17-early C18 and C20. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone, stone slate roof, stone stacks. Quarr Cottage at centre
of row; rectangular main body with C20 extension in same style at
right gable end. C20 extension at rear, not of special interest.
Sunny View added to left gable end of Quarr Cottage. Both cottages
two storeys, Sunny View 2-windowed, Quarr Cottage 5-windowed,
mostly flat-chamfered stone-mullioned windows (some C20) with
horizontal glazing bars. One C20 two-light wood casement left of
plank door to Sunny View. C20 plank door to Quarr Cottage with
flat stone canopy with moulded margin and consoles. Blocked door
towards right end. Axial and gable end stacks, the former with
moulded capping. Flat gable end coping at former left gable end of
Quarr Cottage.
