Aisled barn. C16, altered C19. Timber frame on English bond brick base.
Weatherboarded. Slate roof. 4 bays. Double doors in 3rd bay from house
on both sides. To rear a loft door and a C19 stock brick pigsty with low
brick enclosure. Additions on both gable ends, red brick away from
house, weatherboarded and stock brick towards house with some large
timbers in walling to rear. Interior: jowled arcade posts with braces,
some curved, to tie beams. Curved braces from arcade posts to arcade
plates, some passing braces through aisle ties and arcade posts to tie
beams. Brick plinths cross aisles to arcade posts. Roof rebuilt in C19
with angled queen struts clasping purlins.
