Public House. Dated 1659 to Ludgate Hill. Rough rendered, clay tile roof. L-shaped
block returned to steep slope of Ludgate Hill. Two storeys, six-windowed, sashes with
glazing bars, broad surround set back 3". Six panel door in deep projecting stone
Tuscan portico with flat entablature and part glazed doors, right. Return face
two/three storey, three-windowed wide spaced: includes two three-light hollow chamfer
stone mullioned windows with drips and labels, large C19 sash with bars and large
delivery or carriage opening.
