Dwelling and shop. C17. Rough render on timber frame, double roman tile roof.
Double gables to street and cross ridge roof; gable to rear plus recent extension.
Stone stack in two shafts above roof. Three storeys, two windowed: small casements
with glazing bars in gables, first floor sashes without bars, recent shop front on
stall riser of large squared masonry. Remains of large central stack mostly concealed
by shop fitting at ground floor; heavy scantling roof structure.
Was formerly Lord Berkeley Inn; reputed to date from 1670.
