House. Circa 1830s. Stone rubble with brick quoins and window arches; probably originally stuccoed. Slate hipped roof. Brick lateral stack at side with yellow clay pots.
PLAN: Central entrance plan with room to left and right, the right-hand room has projecting bowed front.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and basement. Asymmetrical 4-window east front; the right-hand two windows in large projecting bowed bay with semi-conical roof; sashes with glazing bars, ground floor 12-pane, first floor 9-pane, centre left first floor round-headed; doorway below with semi-circular fanlight, glazed and panelled door and stone steps with reconstructed iron balustrade.
INTERIOR not inspected, but reputed to be intact.
Depicted on 1842 tithe map, Lulworth Lodge is a good example of a small late Georgian or early Victorian villa.
