Farmhouse. Early C18 with C19 alterations. Red brick with
vitrified headers in Flemish bond and brick dressings, plinth
and first and second floor bands. Shallow pitched mid C19 slate
roof with two large brick ridge stacks. Two storeys plus
garrets and three bays. Central early C19 cambered headed
doorcase with C20 glazed door in moulded surround. To either
side, early C19 glazing bar sashes, also under cambered heads.
Above, two similar windows to either side and a narrow central
window with C20 fixed lights. Similar glazing bar sashes to
side elevation. Interior has early C18 dogleg staircase with
three knopped balusters to each step, the central one fluted,
and scrolled cheekpieces. Early C18 raised and fielded
panelling to one ground floor room with contemporary cupboards
either side of a later fireplace. Ground floor rooms all have
six panelled early C18 doors, and central moulded beams.
