GV II at Ogston Hall)
Kitchen garden walls. Late C18. Sandstone rubble and red brick. Sandstone
dressings. Parallelogram of high rubble walls with corbelled rubble copings and
red brick inner walls. East doorcase of re-used materials; east face has
quoined sides with four-centred arched lintel inscribed 'R WM 1659' in inset panels,
'WT 1771' scratched either side. To west face, depressed arch with raised keystone
and corner voussoirs inscribed 'TWE 1795'. Above to north, on eastern face, a
re-used C13 window with geometric tracery. Northern doorcase has flush quoined
surround, shouldered lintel with 'TWE 1798' inscribed in inset panels.
