Late C18. (On Strutt survey of 1792). A 3 storey terrace of Strutt housing
sloping down hillside between Chevin Road and Derby Road. No 2, Milford Road
(qv) is part of the same block. Coursed stone with sloping slate roof overall.
(No 1 now roughcast). Brick chimneys. One window each with additional top
floor windows, generally sashes with late C19 glazing. Early example of sloping
roof construction. Stone garden walls in front forming the street boundary
to the triangle of land between the 2 roads.
