G.V. II
House, now Hotel. Probably late C18 or early C19. Roughcast stone with some
dressed stone and slate roof. South-west facade of 3 storeys and 3 bays. Stone
base, 1st floor sill band and top frieze and moulded gutter. Windows are sashed
with glazing bars, those to ground floor larger. Entrance has stone porch with
round-arched opening, cornice and blocking course; 9-panel door and overlight.
Gable-end stacks. Lean-to outshut to left return. Rear has tall stair window
with small-paned fixed glazing; 2 sashed windows and one window with leaded
glazing. Entrances to each floor, that to 1st floor over C20 flat-roofed
outshut and that to 2nd floor to fire escape.
