Boundary marker. Early C19. Sandstone ashlar. 1/2 metre-high round-topped stone
set in brick wall running forward from house. Inscribed R B S in Roman capitals.
Historical note: Richard Burdon Sanderson owned land in Jesmond; in 1815 he took
the name sanderson. Source: F. W. Dendy 'An Account of Jesmond' Archaeologia
