Late C18 farmhouse of light red brick, pantiled roof, end and ridge stacks. Two
storeys, three wide bays, irregular. Cambered brick arches to mid C19 sash
window with side margins. Four-panel door with oblong fanlight in wood doorcase
of pilasters and modified entablature. Slightly lower attached barn on left,
similar materials. One-storey east range with horse-engine house but only the
beam remains from the machinery. Rear elevation shows brickwork of an older type
suggesting a C17 origin but nothing definitely pre-C18 is visible inside.
