House. Panel above door with 1594 date is re-used; present building probably
C19 remodelling. Rubble: Slate-hung to front and north return; slobbered to
rear and south return. Graduated slate roof; full-width gabled wing to rear.
Symmetrical: two storeys, three bays. Central part-glazed door with sash to
either side on each floor. Dated panel has cable-mounted border and initials
R. H., with wheatsheaf between. Rendered end chimneys. Once site of mill.
