Church. 1865. Coursed slate rubble with sandstone ashlar dressings and
slate roofs. Nave, chancel with south organ loft and north vestry, and west
tower. Coped gables. 5-bay nave has lancet windows alternating with weathered
buttresses. 2-bay chancel has gabled organ loft with buttresses, quatrefoil
south window and early C19 wall sundial from previous church to gable; east
triplet of lancets on will source and flanking buttresses; north vestry under
catslide roof has straight-headed window. West tower has weathered angle
buttresses and lancets; gabled south porch; paired louvred bell openings,
embattled parapet and pyramidal roof with weather vane; stair turret to north
side. Interior scissor rafter roof. Double-chamfered chancel arch dies into
jambs. Some stained glass, most windows have leaded glazing in decorative
patterns. Georgian royal arms.
