Large House. Late C18 with additions and alterations. Ashlar with end
pilasters, eaves band, and cornice. Graduated slate roofs with mid and end
chimneys. Convex-curved entrance front with wings. 2 storeys. 5-bay curved
section has central Doric porch, distyle in antis; 2 sashes with glazing bars to
left, one to right, and 4 above, with full-height round-headed stair window to
extreme right. Kitchen wing, adjoining to left, remodelled in C20 and of no
interest. Wing projecting to right has eyebrow dormer to return. Garden
elevation has 2 full-height canted bay windows with sashes in architraves; small
Venetian window to each gable. Wall adjoining to right has pedimented Ionic
door surround facing rear of kitchen wing.
