Former Co-operative Society shop. Previous list gives foundation date of 1856 and 1876 date for ironwork. Later additions and alterations. Rendered rubble. Welsh
slate roof with stone coping to south end; brick mid and end chimneys. 3
storeys, 13 bays. Ground floor has C20 shop front divided by original fluted
and panelled pilasters carrying cornice on which verandah rests. Sashes without
glazing bars in stone surrounds to upper floors. Glazed verandah carried on 13
cast-iron fluted Gothic columns with pierced spandrels and antefixae; restored
1984.
