House, now hotel. Late C18. Stuccoed stone with ashlar dressings and slate
roofs. 2 storeys and 6 bays, the end bays break back and are lower. Rusticated
plinth and ground floor sill band; coped gables. Windows have architraves and
are sashed with glazing bars, but gound-floor window to 6th bay and 1st floor
windows to 1st and 6th bay have single glazing bar. Entrance to 3rd bay has
gabled half-glazed porch. 4 gable-end stacks. Interior has turned stair with
stick balusters and fluted newel to wreathed end. Some panelled doors in
architraves, some with pediments; good plaster cornice to front room.
