of Sellet Hall

Barn, shippons and hayloft. Initials and date M on central portion, later
I M
1746
additions to North and South. Stone rubble walls with protruding through.-
stones, graduated greenslate roof, stone ridge and stone coping on west gable.
T-plan. East elevation: 8 windows to ground floor: C19 or early C20 with
glazing bars; 2 boarded doors; 2 similar loft doors over; small square
ventilation holes. Barn to rear has cart entrances to each side, slit openings
and small unglazed window with stone mullions. Included partly for group
value. (Sellet Hall listed under Stainton Parish).
