House and shop. Early C19 with later alterations, with a lower
range to the rear that possibly incorporates earlier work. Stock
brick; Kent tiled roofs. Front range containing principal rooms
with rear wing; the low range beyond this may always have been
semi-industrial. Front: 3 storeys with later attic; symmetrical
3-window range. Parapet conceals dormer from street; 1st floor
windows recessed under round-headed arches with stucco capitals.
12-pane hornless sash windows to upper floors. 2 doors with
fielded panels and rectangular overlight and C20 shop front
between. Internal end stack to left. Rear wing, 3½ storeys,
with a sash window with glazing bars to each floor; internal end
stack. This wing appears to have been heightened. Low range
with no side windows; scars of abutting buildings now removed.
C20 window and modern doorways to end elevation.
