Dated 1736. The Rev William Hazlitt, father of William Hazlitt Essayist and
Critic was Minister of this church between 1770 and 1780. A plain front of
red brick with moulded brick eaves cornice. Flanked by pilasters carried up
beyond the cornice. 3 modern cambered windows. Modern stone flat hood on brackets
to door and modern wrought iron bracket above. Plinth. Original pulpit and
gallery inside.
