The north end is a C17 or earlier timber-framed building of one storey and
attics, with the timbering and painted brick infilling exposed in the east
wall but otherwise refronted with brick now painted. Hipped tiled roof with
2 gabled dormers and C17 brick chimneystack. Brick stringcourse. Two casement
windows. Simple doorcase. Inglenook fireplace to interior. To the south
this is joined to a former oasthouse by a C19 wing of 2 storeys mainly weatherboarded. Tiled roof with hoist. C19 casements. One cylindrical brick
oast.
