Pair of cottages. Dated 1846 but reusing some C16 material.
Built of red brick with grey headers. Hipped slate roof with
end external brick chimneystacks. Moulded wooden cornice. 2
storeys 2 windows and central cemented blank. 1 casement each,
ground floor windows cambered. Paired doorcase with plank
doors under central cambered arch. Interior has open fireplace
with wooden bressumer and bracket and winder staircase. Reused
C16 spine beam with 2 1/2 inch chamfer,stopped, and some plank
doors. Derelict at time of survey. An intact example of
mid-C19 inproved agricultural labourers cottages.
