Dated 1730, this building was originally the old Kent Sessions House and
it incorporates part of the Roman Worthgate and city wall. It was altered
in 1847. 2 storeys flint-faced. Old hipped tiled roof with 3 tall stacks.
3 sashes in brick surrounds on left side. 2 storey bay added in 1847. Side
and rear elevations are stuccoed. 3 windows and coved eaves cornice. Round-headed
doorcase having a semi-circular fanlight Greek Key and patera design, 2 reeded
pilasters and 8 fielded panelled door, The rear elevation has a pediment.
Adjoining is a 2 storey red brick stable block with lunettes.
