Cottage pair. Dated 1887 on stack, in vernacular revival style by Mervyn
Macartney. Red brick ground floor with decorative and plain tile-hung first
floor, swept out as bell case over ground floor. Plain tiled half hipped
roof with gablets. 1½ storeys with 2 gabled oriel-type weatherboarded semi-
dormers on brackets with Ipswich glazing, decoratively latticed, barge boards
and decorative pendants below moulded bressummer and windows. 2 windows
on ground floor, wood framed lattice casements. Entrance with panelled door
to right and half glazed door to left in re-entrant angle recessed porches
with brick side walls and wood side walls, that to left now closed in.
