Oasthouse, dated 1813. Red brick and timber framed stowage, part clad with
weather boarding, with plain tiled roof. Red brick roundels. Two storey
stowage with roof half-hipped to left, with 2 wooden casements and boarded door
to right on 1st floor, reached by external wooden stair. Ranges of boarded,
sliding doors on ground floor with wooden casement and boarded door to right.
Loft door on left return. Roundels attached to end right, with brick dentil
eaves cornice to cowled roof, with louvre over stowage roof. Second identical
roundel to rear right. Interior: ceiling beam on ground floor inscribed
J.T./1813 (James Thorne).
