Bridge and dam wall. Mid C19. Sandstone blocks. To the south, the walling forms
part of the retaining wall to Marshalls Lake, with a semi-circular sink-hole to
take overflow water. The culvert passes out to the north side, round-headed with
flanking offset buttresses. Parapet walls to roadside, about 3 feet high, with
small terminating buttresses. Part of Alexander Beresford-Hope's improvements to
the park at Bedgebury; now part of the Bedgebury National Pinetum.
