Mid Cl9, 3 storeys and basement stuccoed. Moulded eaves cornice. 4 windows
in all, No 26 has altered modern windows. No 28 has sashes with glazing bars
intact with cornices and brackets over. Stringcourse. Round-headed doorcases
with fanlights.
Nos 26 to 40 (even) form a group with the Battery. Statue in grounds of the Battery
and The Globe Inn.
