Shoddy mill and mill owners house, now two houses. "JW
1815" (James Whitaker) on datestone. Watershot stone with
stone slate roof. 3-storey mill which incorporated the
master's house on 2 storeys at the right hand side. 10 bays
with loading door to each floor in bay 6. Square shaped
windows are equally spaced on floors 1 and 2 with a sill
band to first floor. The ground floor windows are 2 and 3-
light flat-faced mullion windows, the doorway having square-
cut monolithic jambs and lintel. There is a chimney stack
to the right gable.
