Public house. Mid/late C18 with earlier origins; eaves raised in C19.
Brick, coursed rubble to left gable, colourwashed, cast tile roof. Two
storeys, 3 bays. Plinth. Central carriageway under elliptical arch flanked
to right by late C19 shopfront and to left by window with glazing bars and
sill under segmental head. First floor: 2-pane window with sill under wedge
lintel flanked by 4-pane sashes with sills under wedge lintels. End stacks,
plain close verges. Interior: the front left room contains a principal
joist, apparently in situ, with ovolo chamfers and ogee stops.
