Circa 1780-90. Pair of red brick double fronted cottages. 2 storeys and
attic. 2 windows each on both floors; 2-light sliding sashes with glazing
bars, segmental brick arches. Steep pitch modern pantile roof with modern
dormers and dentil eaves cornice. 2 new doors of 6 fielded panels in segmental
-headed doorways. 4-pane fanlights. Tumbled brickwork to gable end of
No 100. The early C19 shop window was removed in the restoration of 1974.
Interiors retain original plain staircases, doors and doorcases and chimney
pieces, some with carron grates. No l00 has an original glazed china cabinet
fitted into the chimney breast.
