Formerly the National School for Boys of 1829, and said to be the 1st Board school
in the area. 1 tall storey in brown brick with 2 flanking wings with hipped roofs
and lions mask guttering. Dark pantiles. Front elevation has 1 window to both
wings, rendered lintel carved as brick. 4 windows to south side and 3 to the north
side and large modern van entry. All casements with glazing bars. Centre section
has 4 small windows with wood lintels and glazing bars, under the eaves. Roof
of Welsh slates. Plaque with date above modern double door and brick voussoirs.
Small rear extensions.
