1-10-86 house at Enholmes Farm
GV II
Manure shed. 1849 for William Marshall; C20 infilling to north side. Brick
with breeze-block infilling. Pantile roof. Rectangular on plan, aligned
east-west; forms south-west side of farmyard. Single storey. South side:
12 bays, with arcade of recessed round arches between square piers. North
side has square piers and C20 infilling. Hipped roof. Water stored in
tanks below floor was used for damping straw to make manure. Adjoining C20
range to south is of no special interest. Part of large early industrial
