House. Early C19; renovated 1986. Front faced in red and blue brick in
contrasting Flemish bond, sides and rear of herringbone-coursed beach
cobbles, galleted with pieces of red brick and with red brick dressings.
Red brick stacks. Pantile roof. 2-room, central entrance-hall front with
continuous rear outshut containing stairs. 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical.
Half-glazed panelled door and 4-pane overlight in beaded frame beneath
channelled stucco cambered arch. 16-pane sashes in flush wooden architraves
with sills and similar stucco arches. Stepped eaves. Hipped roof. End
stacks. Left return, facing road, has brick quoins, 4-pane ground-floor
casement beneath segmental arch, first-floor 12-pane sliding sash in
segmental-headed brick surround. Interior contains exposed ceiling joists
to ground floor left, plain mid C19 marbled slate chimneypiece and tiled
cast-iron gate.
