Farmhouse. c1700 with alterations of 1984, including re-roofing, rebuilding
rear wall. Red brick in English bond. Pantile roof. Plan: 3 rooms with
blocked former lobby entry to left, C19 inserted lobby entry to right. 2
storeys, 7 bays: third (former entrance) bay breaks forward. Raised rubbed-
brick quoins. Entrance to sixth bay has C19 panelled door and overlight in
pilastered doorcase with panelled frieze, cornice and hood. Blocked
entrance to left beneath rubbed-brick flat arch. C20 replacement 16-pane
sashes in flush wooden architraves with sills and rubbed-brick flat arches.
Similar smaller first-floor windows, blocked windows to bays 3 and 5. C20
rebuilt corbelled brick eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Pair of rebuilt axial
stacks. Right return has 2 blocked windows to each floor and original
corbelled eaves cornice. Interior, largely altered, retains some fielded
panel doors and boxed-in beams.
