Farmhouse. C17 with C20 alterations. Sandstone, partly clad in brick,
and timber-frame with brick infill, plain tile roof; stone stack cased in brick
to left gable. Basically T-plan, timber-frame infill in north-east angle
(stem aligned east-west). 2 storeys, moulded string course to ground floor;
irregular fenestration, mostly stone mullioned windows: two 3-light casements
in double chamfered surrounds on first floor; ground floor: C20 French casement
to left, 4-light single chamfered window centre, to right a small square
window over which the string rises. Right gable end rebuilt with datestone:
"RSN/ 1902" (a member of the Nash family), gabled porch and panelled door C20;
left gable stone cased in brick in 1983. Rear wing is of brick (partially
rebuilt) on sandstone base; timber-frame of one bay, 4 square panels high to
wall-plate; roof: 2 queen struts to collar with V struts above.
