Stables and coach house, now garages and outbuildings, attached barn and hop
drying house. Early - mid C19, the hop drying house is later C19. Red brick,
plain tiled roof with raised verges and brick modillion cornice. Coach house
and stables of two storeys with outer brick steps at each end; 2 coach house
doors with flat arches; and 2 stable doors at the left, under segmental heads
and one with a semi-circular niche above; 5 segmental headed loft doors and
windows above. Adjoining the stables and at right angles to the north
is the barn with perforated brickwork to the upper part of the walls;
probably 5 bays with central segmental head cart entry. Projecting from
the east end of the barn is the hop drying house with a parallel ridge roof;
2 storeys and 3 bays with segmental headed casement windows and segmental
headed vents below the first floor windows; central door and loft door over;
the rear range has a large ridge vent.
