Farmhouse. Probably late C17, remodelled early - mid C18 and late C19.
Part timber-frame, clad or rebuilt in red brick; plain tiled roof, hipped
over the ends; brick modillion cornice and brick stacks. H-plan. 2 storeys
and cellars at east end. 5 windows to the centre, mostly 2- and 3-light
cross windows, under segmental heads on ground floor; plain string course.
Off-centre glazed door in C19 porch. Single window in projecting wings
at each end; the east elevation of the east wing has four 18-pane glazing
bar sash windows in exposed boxes, and under segmental heads on ground
floor; plain string course. Interior: rear dog-leg staircase has turned
balusters, moulded string and handrail. Rear left (east) room: oak fielded
panelling.
