Malthouse and hop kilns. Mid-C19. Brick with slate roofs. Four-bay range
aligned east/west with two-bay wing at west end and three kilns adjoining
north elevation. Three levels. Main south elevation: there are four 2-light
casements with cambered heads on the ground floor, a 2-light and a 3-light
casement, also with cambered heads on the first floor, and four 2-light casements
on the second floor. The two-bay wing is of two levels and has a dentilled
eaves cornice. Its south elevation has a first floor 3-light casement and two
external chimneys with offsets. Hop kilns are of square plan and have pyramidal
roofs with cowls. There are small openings with cambered heads in their north
elevation. Interior: drying floors are said to survive.
