Former stable block and power-house, now chauffeur's house. c1910, extended
c1950. By Ernest Newton. Roughcast, hipped Westmorland slate roofs, 3 brick
stacks to ridges. 'U' plan, set on a sloping site, enlarged from an 'L' plan
by mid C20 extension to left hand side of front; living accommodation to left,
garaging to centre, 3 stables to right wing. 2 storeys to centre and left; one
to right; two 6-light wooden casements to left; gable to centre above carriage
doors contains 9 panelled, semi-circular headed loft door, the top 6 panes
glazed, surmounted by a beam for hoisting; 3 stable doors to left side of
right wing.
