GV II
Terrace and gate piers. 1814 - 1820 by William Atkinson. Coursed rubble
with ashlar coping. Terrace wall approximately 250 metres long, advanced
in front of early C19 part of house, with three shallow projections and
a plain parapet. On the terrace at the east and west ends stand a pair
of octagonal gate piers of the same date. (BoE, p 249).
