House. Dated 1728, restored 1980's. Brick on coursed rubble plinth,
partially timber-framed with rendered infill, under a tile roof. Integral
gable-end stack to west with brick shaft. North (road) front of two storeys
on cellar, with a band to each floor. Two windows, 2-light casements under
segmental heads. In the centre of the first floor is a sandstone block
inscribed: "M/ WM/ 1728" within a decorative border, over a carved head.
Cellar to right has a segmental brick head. East wall contains another
carved sandstone head. South wall contains the entrance with a glazed door.
The first floor is timber-framed. (RCHM, 3, p 157, no 3).
