Barn and byre. Probably late C18. Timber-framed and weatherboarded
with some boarded infill panels on tall brick base, brick end walls and
corrugated metal roof. Eight-bay range composed of three-bay barn aligned
north/south with central wagon bay and opposed cart entries; five-bay byre
adjoins south end and continues roofline. Byre is partly of two levels
and has six square openings (some in blocked former doorways), an inserted
wide doorway and two further doorways in its main east elevation. Interior:
three and two panels from sill to wall-plate. Intermediate tie-beam trusses
with two main raking struts and subsidiary raking struts in lower corners.
Two tiers of trenched purlins.
